At least 91 journalists faced threats, attacks, or legal harassment, while cross-border incidents with India resulted in deaths and injuries. During this period, 512 women and girls suffered sexual violence, including rape and gang rape, with some resulting in murder or suicide. Labor rights violations were reported, with 45 workers killed and nearly 300 injured. At least 399 children faced various forms of violence, with 83 deaths. The report calls for the government, political parties, civil society, and citizens to work together to improve the human rights situation, ensuring accountability and rule of law in Bangladesh.
