Human Rights Support Center (HRSC) has always been a steadfast advocate of social awareness, and as such it maintains a permanent contribution in this field. ‘Shiny Eid for Tiny Kidz ‘ is a major social programme observed annually by HRSC. Through this programme, HRSC aims to give these children a day of their lives they will never forget by arranging iftar for them and by giving away clothes, toys and much more. This year, the ‘Shiny Eid for Tiny Kidz ‘ programme started its preparations from the beginning on July 2016. It was quite challenging but the dedicated HRSC were relentless in their efforts. The programme will cover in 10 phases. The first phase was successfully completed on July 02, 2016. HRSC officially launched the programme for this year. HRSC arranged a grand cloths distribution programme at the Curzon Hall, University Of Dhaka, which incorporated over 150 street children. There were present as a chief guest S M Mahfuzul Haque chowdury, Executive Director of HRSC, Mohiuddin Himel, Deputy Executive Director of HRSC, Md. Omar Farok, Research and Publication Officer, and Md Rajib Uddin, Documentation Officer of HRSC also presented and distributed clothes at the programme. The day ended with HRSC thanking the University authorities for their cooperation from the start. Around 11am, the children were safely sent to their homes.
