Human Rights Support Society has organized a workshop on the Digital Security act DSA) and Gender-Based Violence (GBV). This was the second event of the project “Building Youth Capacity to Promote and Protect Human Rights”.
This project aimed to prepare youth volunteers against human rights violence through training and awareness building. 50 volunteers from three districts joined this event.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

During this event, Mr Nur Khan, Advisor of HRSS described the laws of the Digital Security act (DSA), the abuse of this law, effect on freedom of expression.

In the second session of the event, Nina Goswami gave a presentation about Gender-Based Violence. She described the effect of GBV is our social life and how to protect women and children from this violence.

Mr Ijajul Islam, Executive director of HRSS moderated and Imamul Hossain , research officer of HRSS hosted the event.
