Human Rights Support Center (HRSC) organized a Conference titled “2nd human rights representative conference 2016” on March 26, 2016 Bishwa Shahitta Kendra, Dhaka, around 100 Human Rights Activists from 64 Districts participated in this conference.
A publication titled ‘Annual Human Rights Report: BangladDSC_0092esh Scenario 2015’ was launched at this Conference. Members of HRSC described their experiences and expressed their feelings about the work they are doing regarding annual human rights report 2015.
Mr. Nur Khan, Director of Ain O Shalish Kendra (ASK), Saifuddin Ahmed, Assistant Professor, Dhaka University S M Mahfuzul Haque, Executive Director of HRSC and Advocate Mohammad Moniruzzaman, Assistant Secretary of HRSC were present at the conference.
During the conference, in the 1st the session in a conference titled “Concept and development of human rights”, Saifuddin Ahmed, Assistant Professor, Dhaka University and Liakot, investigation of Ain O Shalish Kendra (ASK) were present and discussed the historical development of human rights and it origin.
In the 2nd Session titled “human rights issues, factors, and the role of human right defender”. Mr. Nur Khan, Director of Ain O Salish Kendra (ASK) was present and discussed the main reason behind the human rights violation in Bangladesh and who are the main responsible for this situation. Mr. Khan also mentioned that there is a possibility from human rights organization to work with local level activists.DSC_0172
